This Holiday Home is the perfect environment to relax and unwind.

Spacious open plan living/kitchen and dining in a warm and relaxing palette, is complemented by two bedrooms. Fridge/Freezer built in oven and microwave.

The master king bedroom with TV has an en-suite shower room and walk in wardrobe, while the twin bedroom has 3′ single beds and has use of the family bathroom.

There are sliding doors onto the decking area.

There is of course WiFi if you wish to stay connected while on your family holiday but there’s also your own decking area complete with patio furniture to unwind after a day in the Lake District to enjoy the views and a glass of something…

No Pets. Parking for 1 vehicle.

If you are holding a celebration while staying with us, we can decorate with balloons and or banners. We can supply Fizz chocolates etc at an extra charge. Please email if you require any of the above.

Located right in the heart of Pooley Bridge, Ullswater House offers self-catering sleeping up to 14 guests in 6 bedrooms. Perfect for larger family groups, it’s a light, welcoming space literally a stone’s throw from three pubs, award-winning 1863 Restaurant and Rooms, popular Granny Dowbekin’s Tearoom, Chestnut House (the Gin Shop!) and Pooley Bridge Village Stores and Secret Garden.

The House is tastefully and comfortably furnished. The accommodation comprises:

First floor:

2 double en-suite bedrooms
1 twin en-suite bedroom
1 family en-suite bedroom (super-king, single and pull out single bed).

Ground Floor:

1 super-king en-suite (which can be made in to two singles)
1 double with family bathroom adjacent.

Spacious lounge, off the kitchen and separate dining room. Wifi. Garden area with furniture, ample parking in the grounds for several cars.

With Private Hot Tub to rear of property – robes are provided for adults only.

Cots and high chairs are available to hire.

Please note the keys are to be collected from Hillcroft Park.

With a choice of Three Vogues all tastefully decorated which offer you light, airy, open plan living is complemented by stylish yet comfortable interiors. We love the breakfast bar and the Velux Roof windows add another dimension to the kitchen area.

The lounge features a fireplace with electric fire and sofas to sink into, while the main bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The twin bedroom has the use of a separate family shower room.

Doors from the living room lead out to a decking area with patio furniture and views over the park. There is dedicated parking for one car.

Portland Lodge

Luxury is the word that springs to mind for the Portland. A two-bedroom lodge that has contemporary furnishings, its open plan layout is spacious but cosy. The lounge has freestanding sofas, with dining area and freestanding dining table and chairs and dresser unit. The kitchen is unique with a double-width larder unit, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave.

The master bedroom has a King Size bed and a mirrored dressing area and en-suite shower room. The twin bedroom has single beds and there is a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

Double outlook doors open onto the decking area with patio furniture to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

Meadowbank Cottage

Meadowbank Cottage is semi detached and located close to the entrance of the park. The accommodation is furnished and equipped to a high standard. Being all on the ground floor is ideal for those who have difficulty with stairs. The cottage has central heating and comprises:

Dining and lounge area has a log burner, TV, blue ray DVD player and CD player. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. The utility room houses the washer/dryer.

The Master double bedroom has a King size bed, while the twin bedroom has two 3′ beds. The family bathroom features a shower over bath, hand basin, WC and hairdryer. Bath robes and slippers are supplied for adults.

The outside seating area is a real gem, the hot tub boasts fantastic views over the fells and Ullswater. To the rear of the property there is a grassed garden area.

Unfortunately pets are not allowed in this cottage.

A Choice of 8 of these contemporary lodge-style holiday homes (5 of which are pet friendly) have open plan lounge-kitchen-diner areas that lead out onto a decking area with patio furniture.

The comfortable double rooms have an en-suite shower room while the family-friendly twin rooms have the use of a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

Please note one of the lodges does not have a dishwasher please ask when booking

Lodges 2-5 overlook the play park. While they are all of similar layout the decor and furnishings are different in them all.

There is parking for one car.

Please Note Ullswater 29 does not have a dishwasher

We have Four Sheraton’s two are pet friendly (Sheraton 17 and 24). The lounge is slightly separated from the kitchen, making it cosy yet spacious at the same time. The panelled feature fireplace with a clock gives it a country house feel but all around you notice small designer touches, like chrome sockets and switches. You’ll love the ‘his and hers’ sofas with tartan cushions that allow you to gaze out of your huge windows or doors.

The thoughtfully added finishing touches and features combined with the sophisticated design make this a highly desirable home from home.

The kitchen and dining area are something special. Wonderfully handcrafted, the kitchen cupboards contrast with full height splash-backs with the Welsh dresser adding that final designer touch.

It’s the master suite that makes this home stand out from the crowd. Your own walk-in wardrobe, en-suite and huge dressing table with lots of natural light make it the perfect place to get ready for those relaxing holiday evening’s out.

Meadowcroft Cottage is a tastefully furnished holiday cottage sleeping up to six people in three comfortable bedrooms. From wine coolers to wood burners and a hot tub with fell views, this place has all the ingredients for a holiday to remember.

Enjoy a wood burning stove in the lounge. In the three bedrooms you’ll find one King size bed, one double and one twin – perfect for larger families. There is also a luxurious family bathroom.

The hot tub is located on your own private patio with those afore mentioned fell views and comfortable garden furniture.
Unfortunately pets are not allowed in this cottage.

The entrance hallway/utility leads you through into an open plan Lounge Dining Area. The dining area offers direct access through sliding patio doors to your outdoor decking area with patio furniture. The large airy lounge boasts a 3 seater, 2 seater sofa and an arm chair.

The kitchen has integrated Dishwasher, Fridge Freezer, Microwave oven and freestanding under-counter wine cooler. Electric single fan oven and gas hob.

The master bedroom has kingsize bed, wardrobes, dressing table and stool and en-suite shower room, the second bedroom has a double bed, dressing table and stool, wardrobe and the third bedroom has twin beds and wardrobe.

There is a family bathroom with bath and shower over head.

To the back and side of the Retreat is your private Hot Tub.

Bathrobes and Slippers are provided for Adults.
